In Island Bodies, Rosamond King analyzes the sexual norms and gender expectations portrayed in Caribbean and diaspora literature, music, film, and popular culture to show how many individuals contest these traditional roles. Rosamond S. King is the Zicklin Endowed Chair of Interdisciplinary Study and professor of English at Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York. King is the author of the poetry collections All the Rage and Rock Salt Stone.
