Edgar Calabia Samar is a poet and novelist whose books have won Asia's most prestigious literary awards including a three-time winner of the Philippine National Book Award as well as the Man Asian Literary Prize, the NCCA Writer's Prize and many others. Mervin Malonzo is one of the best-known illustrators and graphic novel authors in the Philippines. His comic Tabi Po won the Philippine National Book Award and was adapted into a live action TV series by Cignal TV. He runs an independent publishing house, Haliya Publishing, with his wife Prin and a few friends dedicated to producing high level graphic fiction. Illustrator of After Lambana and Alternative Alamat; and co-illustrator of The Lost Journal of Alejandro Pardo and The Black Bestiary.
