There is a great need today to clarify the enormous difference between accumulating religious information and baggage and embracing a long-term commitment to deeply knowing and following Jesus Christ.

Jesus Changes Everything brilliantly illuminates the person and principles of Jesus and His clarion call to each person to follow Him as a daily lifestyle. More than ever, there is a need to clarify the difference between doing Christian service (working for God) and making a radical commitment to knowing His Son (working with God). People hungry for an authentic relationship with God will be encouraged to know He can be found through knowing and following a Person, not a religion.

Doug Burleigh has been on the frontlines of ministry for Jesus for over 50 years, serving on Young Life staff for 25 years (the last five and a half years of which he served as national president), and the past 25 years with The Fellowship in Washington, D.C. Throughout the years, he has led over 65 "Jesus Conferences" for young people in all 15 nations of the former Soviet Union and every region of Russia. Doug holds a B.A. in Political Science and Russian from Willamette University, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington, and an M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been married to the former Debbie Coe for 46 years; they have four grown children and 16 grandchildren and make their home in Arlington, Virginia.
