He holds a B.A. from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Yale Law School, and is a member of the Bar of the State of New York. Rabbi Solomon received his ordination from the Rabbinical Studies Department of The New Seminary. He is a member of the Rabbinical Fellowship of America and has authored over thirty books. Rabbi Solomon has taught courses on Jewish Views of the Afterlife and Basic Judaism. He resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife Jane Stern Solomon. They have one son, Michael.
