'A delight' Stephen Fry

BLUNDER
To mistake, grossly, to err very widely.
'Someone has blundered'(Alfred, Lord Tennyson, 'Charge of the Brexit Brigade')

EUTHANASIA
An easy death. Strangulation by EU regulations, according to Brexiters.

'Brexit' seems to mean many things, but none of them is clear. Fortunately, help is at hand from Harry Eyres and George Myerson, who offer us pithy and incisive definitions of the key terms associated with this momentous process.

From 'COCK-UP' to 'WRETCHED' via 'BUFOON' and 'MAY', Johnson's Brexit Dictionary is a delightful, witty and essential compendium inspired by Dr Johnson's original, and updated for our turbulent times.
Harry Eyres has been a theatre critic, wine writer, poetry editor and for a decade wrote the 'Slow Lane' column in the Financial Times. He has contributed to the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and is the author of Beginner's Guide to Plato's The Republic, Wine Dynasties of Europe, The Viking Guide to Cabernet Sauvignon Wines and most recently Horace and Me: Life Lessons from an Ancient Poet. He lives in London. George Myerson has published books on football, ancient and contemporary culture, modern thought, and the philosophy of everyday life. He holds a PhD in English from Cambridge where he currently teaches.
