JOHANNES RADEBE was born in Zamdela Sasolburg and started dancing at seven. Over the next 15 years he became a three-time South African Amateur Latin Champion and two-time South African Professional Latin Champion. In 2016 he joined South Africa's Dancing With The Stars making the final for two years running. In 2018 he joined Strictly Come Dancing in the UK and in 2021 he was partnered with John Whaite - reaching the final and winning 'Media Moment of the Year' at the British LGBT Awards. Jojo has since had success with two critically acclaimed UK solo tours Freedom (2022) and Freedom Unleashed (2023). His film choreography debuted at the BFI London Film Festival with Pretty Red Dress (2022) and he is currently a co-producer of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Strange Loop (Barbican 2023). Jojo: Finally Home is his first book.
