Seán Hemingway is an archaeologist and a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He has a Ph.D. in classical art and archaeology from Bryn Mawr College and was a Fulbright Scholar to Greece.The author of numerous writings about ancient Greek art, he has also edited several books by his grandfather, Ernest Hemingway. Philosopher and essayist, Gilles A. Tiberghien (b. 1953) teaches aesthetics at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is a member of the editorial board of Cahiers du Musée d’Art Moderne and the author of numerous pioneering works on Land Art, landscape, and nature.
