The Journal of the Canadian Society for Coptic Studies is published annually on behalf of the Canadian Society for Coptic Studies by Lockwood Press. Kathlyn M. Cooney is associate professor of Egyptian Art and Architecture at UCLA. She is author of The Cost of Death: The Social and Economic Value of Ancient Egyptian Funerary Art in the Ramesside Period and The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut's Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt.
