About Daniel Snowman

Daniel Snowman is a social and cultural historian. Author of over a dozen books Daniel was born in London educated at Cambridge and Cornell was a lecturer at the University of Sussex and went to work at BBC Radio where he produced a wide variety of projects on cultural and historical topics. Since 2004 a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research(U of London)Daniel's books include a study of the impact on Britain of The Hitler Emigrés and The Gilded Stage: A Social History of Opera
