Wendy Owen is a significant figure in the history of women's football in this country. A powerful centre back, she starred for the English national side at a time when the sport really took off. About Wendy Owen
After finishing her playing career Wendy was one of the first group of women to gain the F.A Coaching Certificate. She has since spent twenty-five years coaching football in the UK and US, and now a senior lecturer she holds the UEFA 'B' Licence and works as a coach educator.
