HE'S APE-SOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

Kid Kong is an adorable young ape who lives with his wacky, human granny. With a gigantic appetite for bananas to match his huge size, Kid and Gran often find themselves in incredible situations. Whether they're hairdressing with aliens in outer space or time-travelling on Gran's special scooter, fun and laugher are 100% guaranteed! Written by Alec Worley (Star Wars Adventures, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and featuring the playful art of Karl Dixon (The Beano's Beryl the Peril), Kid Kong is a firm favourite bounding from the pages of the monthly Monster Fun comic!

Part of the Monster Fun Collection, spinning from the pages of the hit UK comic, this brilliant range of books aims to inspire children to love reading through incredible stories and cool characters.
Alec Worley is a comics writer whose credits include* Judge Dredd, *Anderson, Age of the *Wolf and Dandridge (all for 2000 AD), as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars (for Panini). He also writes fiction set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer universe.

Karl Dixon has been a professional cartoonist since 1993. In that time, he has worked on many national UK newspapers both as comic strip writer and illustrator. But since 1998 he has worked mainly in comics producing, creating and illustrating pages for the Dandy and other DC Thomson titles. Since the Dandy’s demise, he began producing graphic novels for a Dutch publisher where he wrote and illustrated four books. He also wrote and illustrated two of his own titles: Castle Comics and The Night of the Village Idiots. Nowadays he illustrates Kid Kong for Monster Fun comic and produces many comic strips and caricatures for magazines and specialist clients. He also writes and illustrates a growing collection of his own books.
