La Dolce Veto: A deliciously sweet slow-burn romance full of yearning, fresh starts, and the magic of love under the Italian sun.
He’s rebuilding his town. She’s rebuilding her life.
Isabella Rhodes was supposed to be living the dream.
But when a devastating betrayal shatters her reputation overnight, she escapes to La Musa, a sleepy village in the heart of Italy where the days are slow, the pasta is handmade, and no one knows her name.
Izzy hopes to start over. But her plans unravel when she discovers she’s sharing her idyllic villa with Benito Farentino, the brooding, newly elected mayor. He’s just as determined to save his crumbling hometown as he is unwilling to trust an outsider like Izzy.
As tensions grow over the town’s future, Izzy’s pulled further into Benito’s world.
And soon, what began as a quiet escape becomes a chance to rebuild, to believe again, and maybe even to fall in love. . .
