Professor Mike Campbell is Director of Policy and Research at the Sector Skills Development Agency. He has worked on the themes of this book for the Department for Education and Skills, the European Commission, Regional Development Agencies and local partnerships for several years. He was also a member of the Skills Research Group supporting the National Skills Task Force and the academic panel working with the Cabinet Office on workforce development.
