'This book beautifully reminds us that freedom comes from choosing what truly matters, and releasing the rest with gratitude' Marie Kondo

'A bible for minimalist living' Dr Joseph Jebelli

'Read Let Go and feel a weight lifted off your shoulders. Practical, insightful, and full of wisdom' Iwan Carrington

'He is on a journey toward his true self, shedding what is unnecessary without placing importance on how others see him, and focusing only on what his soul truly seeks. He carefully examines each element and is creating a life that is entirely his own. Thank you for sharing what you've discovered along the way' Banana Yoshimoto

What if a freer, richer life doesn't come from gaining more but from letting go?

This Japanese bestselling phenomenon reveals how you can access your true self by letting go of everything in your life that no longer serves you.

In 2010, Daisuke Yosumi left his prestigious role as a hitmaker at Warner Music Japan to fulfill his dream: living a self-sufficient, minimalist life in New Zealand. By letting go of his career, status, connections, possessions, and 90% of his income - Yosumi reclaimed his true self. Since then, he has become a bestselling author and a pioneer of Japan's minimalist and digital nomad movements, inspiring millions to discover freedom and happiness through letting go.

In Let Go, Yosumi invites you to strip away the clutter - both physical and emotional - in an age of too much: goods, information, and pressure. His methods cover every aspect of our lives: money and the things we own; time management; health and stress; mindset and habits; work; and relationships.

Through fifty simple yet powerful shifts, Yosumi shows us how to:
- Declutter your home and finances to create space for what truly matters
- Break free from outdated habits, constant multitasking, and the pressure to prove yourself
- Let go of negative self-talk, draining relationships, and the need to please others
- Reimagine work and lifestyle choices so they align with your true self

With relatable stories and gentle but transformative advice, Yosumi offers easy steps you can begin today. Practical and deeply inspiring, Let Go is not a book about becoming a minimalist. It's a life strategy for finding true freedom, true happiness, and your true self.

Daisuke Yosumi (born 1970) began his career at Sony Music in Tokyo in 1995 and was headhunted by Warner Music in 2004. As a producer, he created ten million-selling hits, before moving to a lakeside forest in New Zealand in 2010 to fulfil a long-held dream. The original Japanese edition of Let Go sparked a nationwide minimalist boom.

He mastered the art of 'letting go' through three radical life stages: his difficult school years, the
corporate battlefield, and now a self-sufficient life free from the pressures of time and money in New Zealand, where he lives with his family. A pioneer of Japan's digital nomad and trekking movements, he is the first Japanese ambassador for both Greenpeace Japan and Fairtrade Japan. He also leads LifestyleDesign.Camp, an online community school for post-capitalist living.
