Ann Ingalls passes the day exaggerating (writing fiction) or telling the truth (writing nonfiction). Ann has written over sixty books for young readers. Pencil: A Story with a Point! made the Banks Street Best Books list of 2020. J Is for Jazz won the 2015 Annual American Graphic Design Award and the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation’s A Book Just for Me! Little Piano Girl also won the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation’s A Book Just for Me! She has received a handful of awards from the Highlights Foundation for poetry and short stories. Kat Kalindi is an illustrator and surface pattern designer from the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. Kalindi has been illustrating for over 13 years. Before going freelance, she worked as an in-house textile designer for a fashion retailer. Being a collector of all things cute and botanical, Kalindi’s life is filled with lots of color and magic. These are inspirations for her artwork, and her home is filled with Japanese kitsch toys, art books, succulents, rainbows, sunshine, and patterns! Kalindi licenses her art and works for various clients, including Mudpuppy, Spotlight, Kippins, Earth Nymph, Cotton On, Proctor & Gamble, RSVP greeting cards, Coca-Cola, Cadbury, and many more. Let’s make some magic together.
