Letters from the Witch follows five witches from across the globe as they prepare for showtime at the annual Big Witch Convention. Their work is interrupted, however, by gaggles of local children looking for help. How will the witches share their secrets, and will the children know if they're being tricked?

Written in perky rhyming verse as a partner title to Letters from the North Pole, this delightfully spooky story includes ten pull-out paper props, featuring hand-written letters and spells straight from the witches' homes.
Annie Atkins is a graphic designer and prop maker for film and television. Her first job after graduating was on the third season of The Tudors, creting the calligraphy for Henry the Eight's death warrants (among other things). She is known for her work with Wes Anderson on The Grand Budapest Hotel, which won The Academy Award for Best Production Design at the 87th Academy Awards. Since then, she has worked again with Wes Anderson on Isle of Dogs and The French Dispatch. Annie's first book, Fake Love Letters, Forged Telegrams, and Prison Escape Maps was published in 2020 by Phaidon. Annie lives in Dublin, Ireland, where she teaches workshops out of her studio.

Taryn Knight is an illustrator working in children's literature from her home in the windswept fields of Colorado with over 360k followers on Instagram. She began her professional career as a digital designer, dabbling in digital illustration until finally returning to paint and paper. Since then, she's made her children's book illustration debut in 2020 with Embassy of the Dead (Walker US) and manages an online shop. Taryn is inspired by nature and life's simple joys, aiming to create a sense of wildness and childish freedom. She works from her small studio at home, where her desk is littered with paint tubes, mismatched mugs, treasures collected on walks, and half-drunk cups of tea.
