Peter Breen studied at St Columba's College Springwood, a minor seminary in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney in the late 1960s before studying and practicing law in 1973. In 1990 he travelled to Rome and the Vatican with the benefit of a letter of introduction to the Pope from Australian writer Morris West. Whilst there, Peter spent time researching and writing about Marian apparitions in the Vatican Secret Archives. After retiring from his career in law and politics, he began planning a pilgrimage to the Marian apparition shrines of Europe to renew his faith. During the pilgrimage, he wrote letters to the Pope about the Church giving formal approval to the Marian apparitions at Medjugorje in Bosnia Herzegovina. He plans to return to Medjugorje in 2025.
