Serenity is very good at sharing things. She is happy to divide the play clay or the paint pots to share with the other kids at kindergarten. But when her mum has a new baby and the new baby shares her space and – more importantly – her mum’s attention, Serenity finds it much harder to share. She shares her fears with her mum, and feels much better, realising that there is more than enough love at home to go around.
Amber Stewart grew up in rural Dorset, England, and escaped as soon as she could to study Russian literature at the University of London. However, she never got over her childhood joy of reading Winnie-the-Pooh and—since graduating many moons ago—she has enjoyed an ongoing career in children’s publishing, as well as her own writing career. Amber now lives between London and Somerset with her family and other animals.
