Elena Pasquali worked for some years in children's publishing before becoming an author in her own right. She has a special interest in researching and retelling folk tales from around the world. She enjoys exploring new cultures and learning new languages that will help her understand those cultures better. Antonia Woodward was born and raised in the Suffolk countryside, UK. She gained a first class honours degree in illustration where she developed a love of children's books and illustrating for little people. She has illustrated a range of different books for children, including picture books, nursery rhymes, bedtime prayers and children's Bible stories. She is the illustrator of The Promised One, The Extra Special Baby, Special Bible Stories, and Bedtime Prayers. She now lives by the sea on the south coast of England with her husband and two small daughters.
