Lions lay eggs, don't they? And baby elephants . . . emerge from a chrysalis? Wait, that can't be right!
Turn the peep-through pages to discover how these adorable baby animals are really born! Little ones will hoot with laughter at the absurd pairings - from lions in eggs and giraffes in pouches to pink zebras. With dry, humorous text and a final flap on the last page.
A hilariously interactive introduction to baby animals!
Becky Davies (Author)
Becky is a children's book editor, and sometimes author, from the South West of England. Her favourite things are animals, books about magic, and anything sparkly. In a parallel universe she lives in Hawaii, where she works in a dog sanctuary and surfs until the sun sets beyond the horizon.
Gareth Lucas (Illustrator)
Gareth is an illustrator and designer living in his hometown in Essex, with his beloved wife and five children. After studying at Brighton and Central Saint Martins he has worked on a variety of projects, but enjoys children's book illustration the most. When he is not working he can be heard indulging his other love - the banjo!
