Celia Ivey is a Cornish-French illustrator born with dwarfism, currently based in Bristol, U.K. She attained her BA (Hons) in Visual Communication & Illustration at the University of West London.Aside from her love of brightly-coloured jumpers and a tendency to laugh at her own jokes, she is passionate about visual storytelling and spends her time immersed in a vibrant world of pop art, comics, and 1950's animation. Celia works exclusively on an iPad Pro, using the ‘Procreate’ app, as she finds it to be the most accessible medium--portable, and greatly facilitated to produce finished work. As a disabled artist, Celia has a unique perspective that is invaluable to produce nuanced storytelling, combined with her ever-present love of vibrant colour.
