Yuushi Kawata is a Japanese manga author recognized for his collaborative works with artist Yukito. Together, they have produced several notable series, including Mr. Mega Man (known as Rockman-san in Japan), a gag manga that reimagines Mega Man as an adult leading a peaceful life as a dentist, while former Robot Masters pursue civilian careers. This series began serialization in April 2021 and concluded in May 2024. Kawata and Yukito also created Little Mega Man, another comedic take on the Mega Man universe. Beyond these, Kawata has authored works such as Alice in Bishounen-Land and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Legend of Piko Piko Middle School Students. Their storytelling often blends humor with unique perspectives on established franchises.
