Most people know Persephone for being the Goddess of the Underworld. But once upon a time, Persephone was just a little girl. Sure, she was the daughter of gods, and she was kidnapped from a flowery field, but in lots of other ways she was just like you. She was very close to her mum, but she didn't always see eye-to-eye with her dad. This is her story.

Packed with facts from the Greek mythology and graphic art panels, Little Myths is the perfect series for mythology-mad kids.

Emma Adams grew up spending lots of her time in her local library, reading Roald Dahl books and imagining she was Matilda. Her love of reading turned into a love of publishing when she went to Loughborough University to study Publishing with English, and when Emma later started working on books for children it felt like the most natural thing in the world. Emma lives in Hackney, London, UK Painting was Isabel's favourite game as a child and, as she grew, became her favourite hobby. When the time came it was only natural for Isabel to go on to study Fine Arts at the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Isabel's shelves have always been filled with beautifully illustrated books, and she loves to spend many hours carefully studying their magic. Today, after a lot of hard work and lots of full sketchbooks, Isabel is proud to call Illustration her dream job.
