It follows the life of a girl who grows up tending graves under the guidance of a beloved groundskeeper. Darcie Dennigan is a poet, novelist, literary critic, and co-director of the poets theatre group Spatulate Church Emergency Shift. Little Neck was previously a finalist for the 2022 Novel Prize, a biennial award for a book-length work of literary fiction written in English, sponsored by New Directions, Fitzcarraldo Editions, and Giramondo.
