One day a family does just that, but after Christmas Little Spruce is mistakenly taken away with the rubbish. Will Little Spruce be able to escape the woodchipper and get home to his family? And what place is there for a Christmas tree once the tinsel comes down anyway?

Sital has always loved books! As a child she read as much as possible and the library was her favourite place to visit. When she wasn’t reading, she was writing, doodling or daydreaming about stories. As a grown-up, Sital spent many years working in a bank, then as a yoga teacher, then she had three children. It was while her youngest was a baby that she started writing again. And she hasn’t stopped since! She writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry for children, including a little something for CBeebies!
At the age of 5, Vicky watched her older brother draw Jolly Jumper. She was so fascinated by seeing a character come to life on paper, she realised there was a magical world other than the one she lived in, where anything is possible. She has been drawing and playing in that parallel universe ever since.
