I am married with two grown up sons who live happily with their partners. I retired at the time of writing this after forty-three years working on the railway in various guises from a driver to working in a number of booking offices. In-between reading and playing snooker I occasionally write the odd poem when I get inspiration. I am a regular member of our congregation at 'St Nicholas Church' in Great Coates,Grimsby and have recently become a Lay Minister within the Church. As you might gather by the subject matter, my Anglican faith is paramount in my life.
