Pierre-André Schmitt, born in 1958, is a renowned journalist with a career spanning over 40 years. From 2017 to 2023, he served as the editor-in-chief and co-owner of the watch magazine Watch Around, which was published ten times a year. Schmitt has a deep passion for horology and has been writing about watches for more than 20 years, particularly for the prestigious Swiss business magazine Bilanz, where he has been deputy editor-in chief. Prior to his work there, Schmitt was the editor-in-chief of the Swiss Automobil-Revue, Europe’s oldest automotive magazine. Additionally, he worked as the deputy editor-in-chief for the Swiss news magazine Facts.
