John's latest collection of poems captures the pleasure, poignancy and pain of love and romance. The poems cover different people, occasions, and places. They range from thoughtful and serious to very witty. There is a poem for everyone.

The Beatles once sang, "All you need is love." This timeless sentiment is at the heart of Love is in the Air, an anthology of over 100 poems that explores love in all its forms and shades. As they say, love makes the world go round-and this collection captures how love permeates every aspect of our lives, from romantic infatuations to the deep bonds shared with family, friends, and even pets.

Within these pages, you will find poems about:

* Boys loving girls and vice versa
* Parents loving their children and vice versa
* Grandchildren cherishing their grandparents and vice versa
* Same-gender love between men and between women
* The love we feel for our closest friends and loyal pets

Love, as portrayed in these poems, is sparked by the smallest of moments: a glance across a room, a kind word, or a simple act of caring. Sometimes, it's inexplicable-a je ne sais quoi that fills us with warmth and wonder. The poems offer a multifaceted reflection on this universal human experience.

Adding to the beauty of the collection, some poems are also accompanied by songs. By scanning the accompanying QR codes, readers can listen to or watch music videos that bring a few of these love poems to life, turning the experience into one of both reading and listening.

So, whether you're basking in the glow of love or searching for solace, this collection offers something for everyone. As you read through these Valentine-inspired thoughts and verses, you might just be reminded that, no matter where you are or who you are, someone loves you.

John Eaton is a poet and song writer, also a nurse and care home manager. He lives and works in Taunton, Somerset, UK. John started writing in the COVID lockdown as a means of staying sane, and of keeping in touch and building his relationship with his granddaughter, Evaleigh. He has always had an affinity with the English language. Space and time created by the pandemic provided him with the opportunity to create. John is passionate about encouraging literacy and a love of the English language.

When John left school, he didn't know what, if anything, he might be good at. As one of eight children growing up on a council estate, he didn't aspire to a higher purpose. However, working in a psychiatric hospital and qualifying as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN), then as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), led him overseas. He went on to establish a successful healthcare training business and, subsequently, a growing care home in Somerset. His work is inspired by the people, punishment, pathos, and humorous proclamations he encounters in his day job.

John's first anthology of poems, Thoughts from a Faraway Place (Austin Macauley) was published in 2021. Thus far, John has also written and produced more than a dozen Spid the Spider books for children, and three accompanying albums, as well as many songs supporting the Ukrainian relief effort, including the album, Under Ukrainian Skies. The music was mostly composed by Pete Dymond, Dymond Studios. Listen to musical versions of John's work at https:// soundcloud.com/john-eaton-205933369 and on all good streaming services
