Love Me Now

English

By (author): Michelle Barnette

I dont understand how we got here. How we got to the point of actual physical fucking violence

It seemed so straightforward: her and him, sex, whenever they wanted.

But when the casual becomes routine and what was convenient turns all-consuming, shes left trying to figure out, trying to remember when the straightforward became so vicious.

Michelle Barnettes brutal debut play explores the toxicity of casual dating and the grey area between love and sex, consent and compliance, yes and no.
