Manju’s is a family run Indian restaurant in Brighton and is named after the matriarch of the family. Manju was taught to cook by her mother and always dreamed of owning her own restaurant cooking her family recipes. At 86 years old, Manju cooks in the restaurant that her sons opened in her honour alongside her daughter-in-law and head chef Dipali and her other daughter-in-law Kirti. Her two sons are front of house and at the weekends, her grandchildren help out too – it's a real family affair.
