This volume encompasses contributions of the 47th Linguistics Colloquium at the University of Olsztyn (Poland) concerning the Materiality and Mediality of Linguistic Communication. In the last two decades, linguists have expressed a growing interest in the increasing presence of the media in all areas of life. Against this background, linguistic utterances in their communicative, functional, medial and cultural context have become subjects of research.
This volume encompasses contributions of the 47th Linguistics Colloquium at the University of Olsztyn (Poland) concerning the Materiality and Mediality of Linguistic Communication. Ewa Żebrowska ist Außerordentliche Professorin am Lehrstuhl für Germanische Philologie an der Universität Olsztyn (Polen). Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Textlinguistik und Pragmalinguistik.
Mariola Jaworska ist Dozentin am Lehrstuhl für Germanische Philologie an der Universität Olsztyn. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Didaktik und Methodik des Deutschen als Fremdsprache.
Dirk Steinhoff ist Germanist und Kunstpädagoge und war am inter-DaF (Herder-Institut) tätig. Zurzeit ist er DAAD-Lektor an der Universität Olsztyn.
