This new edition of The Mayo Clinic Diet combines the practical, no-nonsense approach of the time-tested Mayo Clinic eating plan with brand-new information on the safe and effective use of prescription weight-loss medications. Designed to support people who are using prescription medications to lose weight and who want to make lasting lifestyle changes, The Mayo Clinic Diet: Weight-Loss Medications Edition offers expert advice to help you successfully manage your weight.

By giving you concrete tools — such as delicious recipes, strategies for incorporating exercise into your routine and tips for meal planning — this book will help you craft a tailored weight-loss plan that works best for your body.

The Mayo Clinic approach to weight management outlines a two-week quick-start program designed to help you add 5 habits, break 5 habits, and try 5 bonus habits, all of which are proven to help people maintain a healthy weight. Then you’ll develop a long-term maintenance plan to help you establish key behaviors that will help you maintain a healthier weight for life.

New to this edition, you’ll find a detailed explanation of how prescription weight-loss medications work and who they work best for, how to incorporate them into your weight-loss plan and cope with potential side effects, and how to stop using them without reversing weight loss.

Along with the Mayo Clinic Diet online platform, this invaluable resource will help you help you meet your nutrition and activity goals while setting up key habits around weight management.

When it comes to diets, one size does not fit all. Instead of promising unsustainable results that can harm your body, The Mayo Clinic Diet: Weight-Loss Medications Edition offers a simple and customizable approach to support you while using weight-loss medications — a healthy eating and exercise plan that you can live with for life!
