Geoffedo Plastino is Professor of Ethnomusicology at the University of Newcastle England. He is the editor of Italian Treasury, a 20-volume series of compact disks being published by Rounder Records from recordings of Italian folk music made by Alan Lomax and Diego Carpitella in 1954-55.
