Julie Eggleton is an ex-teacher, in her 50s, who has been on an extended senior gap year for the last 60 months and has no plans to slow down yet! In fact she has become the ultimate BUDGET TRAVELLER who often travels solo (Federal Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kosovo....) and stretches her money creatively so she can keep exploring the world. Most recently this has been by joining the platform called Couchsurfing, staying for free in the homes of local people in South America, the Middle East and most recently Africa. The interactions she has experienced whilst doing so were priceless. Strangers quickly became friends.
