Packed with good advice on choosing the right MGF or TF, with a comprehensive inspection guide and in-depth analysis of strengths and weaknesses, this book covers desirable upgrades, modifications to avoid, valuation, and predicting which models will become classics. Illustrated throughout with photos of key areas to check and foibles to be aware of, includes details of the MG community and whether an MGF or TF will suit you and your lifestyle. This is the complete guide to choosing, assessing, and buying the MG of your dreams.
Rob Hawkins became a full-time freelance motoring journalist and photographer in 1993, combining his passions for writing, photography, and sports cars. He has written and photographed features for MG Enthusiast magazine since 1995, and has owned or driven most of the postwar MGs. When the MGF was launched in 1995, Rob was involved with test driving standard and modified versions, and wrote articles on how to repair and improve this mid-engined, two-seater sports car.
