Ellen Labrecque has written more than fifty books for young children. She lives in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Jeff, and two children, Sam and Juliet. She especially loves writing biographies and in her free time enjoys reading, traveling to new places, and running.

Alexandra is a Romanian illustrator and creative director in animation. Born to immigrant parents who moved to Izmir, she started painting as a child to express herself before learning Turkish in kindergarten. Inspired by the animated shows she loved, Alexandra was determined to create her own stories from a young age. After studying animation, she moved to Atlanta, GA, to develop her skills further and pursue a career in the animation industry. Her love for literature also led her to illustrate children’s books. After four years in the U.S., Alexandra returned to Izmir, where she is currently based. In her free time, she enjoys throwing pottery, building Legos, cheering for her favorite F1 teams, and exploring the latest in astrophysics.
