Rob Hawkins has been involved with computers since he first bought a Sinclair ZX Spectrum in the early Eighties and began writing his own games. After spending three years at university completing a computer-related business studies degree and using a variety of business software, he became a freelance journalist and photographer in 1993. Two years later he started delivering computer training courses and continued his journalism, progressing into computer magazines and writing reviews and technical guides.
