Robert A. Pastor is currently Professor of Political Science at Emory University and Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Program at the Carter Center. He is on leave of absence in 1985-86 as a Fulbright Professor at El Colegio de Mexico. He directed a two-year research project on Migration and Development in the Caribbean at the School of Public Affairs of the University of Maryland at College Park
