Illustrator:
Megan Forward is a Meanjin/Brisbane-based illustrator and author of picture books. She blends watercolour, charcoal, pencil, ink, and collage to create stories inspired by everyday details. Her books include A Patch from Scratch and All I Want for Christmas Is Rain (both CBCA Shortlist 2017), Emily Green's Garden, and more. Megan holds degrees in Visual Art and Teaching and enjoys running creative workshops that combine art, story, and wellbeing. As a child, she dreamed of being like Beatrix Potter, and now brings that dream to life through her work.
