She has since gone on to become an advocate for women who want to challenge society’s extreme beauty standards and embrace their natural beauty.
Freda Chiu is an Australian freelance illustrator and educator at The University of Technology Sydney. Her clients include Allen and Unwin, Puffin Books UK, Penguin Random House, Google, Sony and Vice. Her illustrations have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and she runs regular illustration and comic workshops for kids.
