Missing

3.62 (2,964 ratings by Goodreads)

By (author): Karin Alvtegen

Translated by: Anna Paterson

The murderer had sliced open the dead man's torso and removed unspecified internal organs. The police admitted that some kind of religious symbol had been left at the scene of the crime, suggesting a ritual act of slaughter . . .

When a serial killer strikes, a homeless woman finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, framed for horrifying murders that she didn't commit. On the run and living by her wits, can she avoid capture long enough to prove her innocence?

Missing is a gripping race against the clock, and an examination of the hidden lives of those who choose to live on the outskirts of society.
