A witty and mischievous tale inspired by The Wind in the Willows, from renowned poet Roger McGough.

Mr Toad has a shiny gold coin. He gives it to Miss Mole to pay for a room in her hotel. Now Miss Mole can pay Sam Stoat for painting the hotel, and Sam Stoat can pay back Mr Badger ... until the coin might just end up back where it started! From renowned poet Roger McGough and Kate Greenaway Medal winner Mini Grey, this is an inspired and witty tale featuring beloved characters from The Wind in the Willows.

Roger McGough is a renowned and award-winning poet, playwright, broadcaster and children's author. One of the leading members of the influential Liverpool poets that came to prominence in the 1960s, he has been appointed a CBE, honorary fellow of Liverpool John Moores University and President of the Poetry Society. He lives in London.
Mini Grey was given her name after being born in a Mini in a car park in Wales. She is the author and illustrator of a number of books for children, and has won the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and the Nestle Smarties Book Prize. She studied at Brighton College of Art and now lives in Oxford.
