Nothing frightens Winifred Schnitzel—but she DOES need her sleep, and the neighborhood monsters WON'T let her be! Every night they sneak in, growling and belching and making a ruckus. Winifred constructs clever traps, but nothing stops these crafty creatures. What's a girl to do? (Hint: Monsters HATE kisses!) The delightfully sweet ending will have every kid—and little monster—begging for an encore.
Lane Fredrickson is a veteran of the United States Air Force and holds degrees in psychology and English. Lane’s first published children’s book, Watch Your Tongue, Cecily Beasley, was published by Sterling Publishing in 2012. Her website, RhymeWeaver.com, is full of image-based tutorials on poetry and writing. She lives in FL with a volleyball player and a basketball player (who also happen to be her children), her husband, and a very small Yorkie named Holly. Michael Robertson graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in painting. He spent ten years as a toy designer and character developer before trying his hand at illustration. His work has appeared on many children's products, greeting cards, and magazines, and has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators. Michael lives in downtown Cleveland, where he enjoys painting, cooking and listening to the extensive collection of vintage soul, jazz, and Brazilian music he has acquired over the years.
