Can you crack a cunning code as you visit GCHQ? Did you know Stroud used to have its own time zone, Wyedean School helped shape the Harry Potter books and a Cirencester woman reduced Margaret Thatcher to a quivering wreck?

More Adventures in Glorious Gloucestershire is a new journey with author Mark Cummings to explore literary locations, fascinating folklore and secret viewpoints. Follow in the footsteps of local celebrities who share their favourite walks, delight in Gloucestershire’s natural healing properties, learn about ancient rivalries and rebellions, go behind the scenes at Cheltenham Racecourse and meet the inspirational local women who have changed the world, from philanthropists and fashion designers to queens and sporting legends.
