Born out of expansion in 1962, the New York Mets have more than filled the void left by the departure of the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. They have provided baseball fans in New York and around the baseball world with 60 years of memories including Casey Stengel's loveable losers, the improbable 1969 miracle, another world championship in 1986 and National League pennants in 1973, 2000, and 2015 with many unforgettable moments in between. Building on the success of Amazing Mets Trivia, published in 2003, this book tests the memories of Met fans of all ages with hundreds of questions and facts about players including: Tom Seaver, Cleon Jones, Willie Mays, Rusty Staub, Dave Kingman, Lee Mazzili, Darryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden, Keith Hernandez, Gary Carter, Mike Piazza, Edgardo Alfonzo, David Wright, Jacob de Grom and many others.

Ken Samelson has authored or edited scores of baseball books including The Baseball Encyclopedia, Amazing Mets Trivia (with Ross Adell), and Incredible Baseball Stories. A two-time SABR (Society for American Baseball Research) trivia champion, he has also served as associate producer for Mets Extra on WFAN Radio and wrote a monthly quiz for New York Mets Inside Pitch. He made a brief appearance in the ESPN documentary series Once Upon a Time in Queens.

Spencer Samelson went to his first Mets game when he was four months old and his favorite player growing up was shortstop Rey Ordonez. He went on to pitch at both Onondaga CC and Manhattanville College, where he was the sports editor of the campus paper, the Touchstone. He has an MBA from Syracuse University and MS from Columbia University. He still plays semipro baseball and is the head freshmen coach at Clarkstown South High School in West Nyack, New York. He has worked as a freelance fact-checker for various sports publishers.
