This heartwarming graphic novel - informed by expert advice - shows children how to maximise all the good things the internet can offer, while staying safe, kind and confident online.
When it comes to being online, Mouse does NOT feel confident at all. From accidentally spending all his money on gaming skins to encountering online bullies and constantly comparing himself to others, Mouse makes a LOT of mistakes. Luckily his best friend, Bear, is on hand to help.
In 10 mini stories, Mouse and Bear show readers - through their own mistakes and mishaps - how to look after devices, identify risks online, deal with cyberbullying, positively engage with social media, manage screen time and safely enjoy online gaming.
The perfect graphic novel for kids getting a new device, or those in need of an introduction to social media and the world of online gaming. All stories and tips are informed by expert advice from mental health specialist Raoul Lindsay, qualified therapist and contributor to the BBC's Tiny Happy People resource. Mouse and Bear are brought to life by comic book artist John Cei Douglas, whose soft, inviting style perfectly explores mental health, wellbeing and relationships.
The warmly humorous adventures of Mouse, Bear and their friends gently demonstrate online safety, whilst providing accessible and entertaining stories for readers aged 7+.
