Mourning the loss of his late wife, Rita, former NYPD detective Nico Doyle moves to her home town of Gravigna in the wine region of Chianti. Camilla Trinchieri worked for many years on films in Rome with directors including Federico Fellini and Luchino Visconti. She emigrated to the US in 1980 and received her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. Under the pseudonym Camilla Crespi, she has published seven crime novels, including The Breakfast Club Murder.
