Tom’s first play, Muscle, was produced by Bristol Old Vic in September 2009 then remounted by Hull Truck Theatre in 2011. Tom is under commission to write a new play for Hull Truck in autumn of this year. In 2010 he was on the Young Writers’ Programme and Autumn Studio Group at the Royal Court in London. Tom has worked as an actor with Theatre Alibi, Bristol Old Vic, Bodies in Flight, Myrtle Theatre, Tobacco Factory, BBC1 and Radio 4. Other writing/performing credits work with currently dormant theatre company Paper Aeroplane include Jesus Christ It’s Christmas, Love in Idleness, The Grill Chef and One. Tom has also written for ATC/Bristol Old Vic Young Company (Emo) and adapted Hansel and Gretel for The Egg in Bath. Tom’s solo show Pedestrian, a Theatre Bristol/Bristol Old Vic co-commission, is touring this Autumn.
