Bent Rej (1940-2016) was an internationally renowned photographer who began his career in the early ’60s as a press photographer for one of the leading newspapers in Denmark, Ekstra Bladet. Bent was assigned to cover The Rolling Stones on their 1965 tour of Europe and soon became part of their entourage. He continued his work as a rock photographer for various publications, most notably the British magazine Fabulous. Later, he turned to fashion and advertising. Bent Rej’s rock photographs have been exhibited in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy, France, and the United States.
