The Illustrator
Marijke Buurlage is a Dutch illustrator. She graduated from the Minerva Academy in Groningen in 2013 and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since. She works mostly on illustrations for children's books, magazines, book covers, posters, apps and ebooks. Her work is vibrant, light-hearted, playful and feminine and her two favourite subjects are animals and botanicals.
